Michael Agbayekhai Chief Internal Auditor Michael Agbayekhai is the Chief Internal Auditor, Bank of Agriculture Limited. He has accumulated about 24 years auditing and banking experience working in various functions and on various strategic assignments and projects. He has substantial experience in Finance, Banking, Internal Audit and Risk Management. He has been involved in the transformation of internal audit functions and leading the risk-based internal audit and information systems audit in Bank of Agriculture. He contributed substantially to the design of the Bank’s Accounting System and controls policies and headed the Finance Department. He was also Zonal Manager of 3 Zones in the country namely: North East, North Central and South-South Zones at various times. Michael has attended various international meetings, conferences and seminars in Washington and New York in the United States of America, Switzerland and in the UK. He has extensive management training in Finance, Banking, Management and Leadership in highly rated institutions including the Prestigious London Business School in 2005.
Mrs Olabisi V. Iyalla AGM, Credit Department Olabisi Vivian Iyalla, an Assistant General Manager in the Credits Department, has the responsibility of ensuring that good quality risk assets are generated from the field in addition to supervising the day to day activities in the various units that make up the Department. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology from the University of Ife in 1982. Her working career with the Bank began in 1983 when she was hired as an Assistant Project Officer. A Credit Analyst with experience spanning 25years, she has worked at various locations of the Bank, in different capacities, most recent of which was the Port Harcourt Zonal Office where she was Zonal Head of Loans. An avid reader whose life philosophy is “start with the end in mind” Mrs. Iyalla has attended various courses, all of which have equipped her with the insights and tools needed for optimum performance on the job.
Babatunde O. A. Igun Head of Credits Department Babatunde Olugbenga A. Igun is the Head of Credits Department at the Bank of Agriculture. Mr. Igun is multidiscipline specialist with diverse experience in development banking, policy, microfinance, local economic development and fisheries; spanning 32 years. He has his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Economics with specialization in Monetary and Financial Economics from the Universities of Ife and Ibadan respectively. Mr. Igun attended the Wysza Szkola Morska in Sczeczin, Poland where he bagged a professional postgraduate diploma in fisheries economics. He is a fellow of the United State’s prestigious Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program through which he studied Development Banking at the University of California in Davis. Mr. Igun is a fellow of Fisheries Society of Nigeria and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management. Mr. Igun has headed many departments in the bank and was once the Zonal Manager of the Bank’s South West operations.
Mohammed A. Babangida Head, Finance Mohammed Abdu Babangida is currently Deputy General Manager and Head of Finance. Babangida worked briefly in Fufare local Government as Councilor for works and housing before joining the Bank in 1990 as a Project Officer. With over two decades as a Development Finance practitioner during which he rose from Officer to Deputy General Manager, Babangida has functioned as head at both the branch and zonal office levels of the Bank. He also has experiences in Audit, Human Resource and Credit Administration. A graduate of Accountancy from the University of Maiduguri, he holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Ondo State University and a PGD (Public Accounts and Auditing) from Kaduna Polytechnic. He has attended several professional and managerial courses in Branch Operations (Grammen Bank, Bangladesh) Credit Analysis, and Management Corporate Governance and Strategies Management. He is a member of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and Chartered Institution of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
Dr. Mahmud N. Kolo Head, Corporate Planning Dr. Mahmud N. Kolo is currently the Head of Corporate Planning Department. He is a seasoned Banker with over 23 years of experience as credit analyst. He started his banking career in 1988 with the former Nigerian Agricultural and Cooperative Bank (NACB) Limited, one of the legacy institutions that was merged to form the present Bank of Agriculture (BOA) Limited. During this period, he has held various positions, including Operations Manager, Branch Manager and Liaison Officer of BOA in Abuja. Dr. Kolo holds Doctor of Vet Medicine (DVM) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He has attended various professional courses within and outside Nigeria. Before starting his career as a banker, he served Niger State Government in various capacities viz: Zonal Veterinary Officer, Suleja, Lecturer/Head of Department, Animal Health and Livestock Department, College of Agriculture, Mokwa and Project Manager, Niger State Livestock Company, Minna. Dr. Kolo is an associate member of Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria.
Ibrahim Z B. Tizhe Head, Information Technology Ibrahim Tizhe is an Assistant General Manager and the Head of Information Technology of Bank of Agriculture (BOA). Prior to this assignment, he was the Personal Assistant to the Executive Governor of Adamawa State (1999 – 2007). Tizhe however has board based experience in his working life which he started as a Mathematics lecturer in the College of Education, Jalingo, before proceeding to the National Population Commission, and subsequently Nigerian Ports Authority, where he worked as an IT specialist. A Mathematics graduate of the University of Maiduguri, Tizhe holds a Masters degree in Mathematics and a postgraduate diploma in Education from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He tops these with a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Lagos. Tizhe is the current President and Chairman of Council of the Computer Professionals (Registration Council) of Nigeria, and a member of the Governing Board of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA). He had served on Presidential Committee on the Development of the Master plan and Roadmap for the Implementation of Information and Communication Technology for National Development. Follow of the Nigeria Computer Society (FNCS) a registered Member with the Computer Professionals (Registration Council) of Nigeria (MCPN), Tizhe is also a certified PRINCE2 Project Manager.

In December 1996 he was appointed the Manager of the Ilesha Branch Office of the Bank. He was also a Zonal Head of Audit in two Zones namely South East (Enugu) and South West (Ibadan) between September 2002 and December 2004. He was posted to Audit Department as Principal Manager in 2005. He is currently an Assistant General Manager in Credit Administration Department. He is a consummate and broadly experienced Project Analyst and Trainer. His major strength includes professional discipline, strong analytical ability and creativity. He has attended several courses in Advance Project Appraisal, Credit Management, Management of Change, Strategic Management, Integrated Talent Management, Result Oriented Leadership, among others.

Niyi A. Onita Head, Branch Administration Niyi Onita, an Assistant General Manager is presently the Head, Branch Administration Department of the Bank of Agriculture. Until this new assignment, he was in the Internal Audit as Deputy Chief Internal Auditor. Niyi had worked in the office of the Auditor General for the Federation and left as a Senior Auditor. He was involved in the Audit of Embassies/High Commissions that took him to Kenya and Democratic Republic of Congo. Development Banker, Onita has put in twenty years in banking with experience in operations, retail banking and auditing. Niyi Onita studied Economics/Sociology in the University of Lagos and also obtained an M.Sc. degree in Industrial Sociology from the same University. He attended several professional courses including Corporate Governance and Strategic Management, Project Management, International Seminar on Credit Rating under BASEL II Capital Accord, New Prudential Guidelines and organized courses by Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIBN), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He has always been in the faculty of the Staff Development Center, the training arm of the Bank of Agriculture as resource person. Niyi is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Nigeria (FCMA).

Idiat Titilayo Folorunsho Head, General Administation Idiat Titilayo Folorunsho is currently the Acting Head of General Administration department of Bank of Agriculture. She is an expert in Agricultural Development Financing Institution with diverse experience in agricultural and rural development banking. Idiat is an administrator by profession. She had her first degree in Business Management from University of Maiduguri and her MBA from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. She proceeded with her M.Sc. in Business Administration from the same University among other qualifications. She attended various professional courses and leadership programmes including National Institute of Small industry Extension Training (NISIET) Hyderabad, India, Corporate Governance, Advance Human Resource Management and Minimizing Corrupt Practices and Irregularities in Procurement Management in Government Establishment among others. Idiat is a member of Chartered Institute of Banker (CIBN) and the knowledge institute, Hyderabad. She is highly committed, versatile, hardworking and resourceful and her potentials are virtually limitless. She has worked in various capacities among which are Head, Branch Operations, Zonal Head of Inspection, Investigation/Internal Auditor, Senior Manager Credit, Principal Manager, Welfare etc. She is a Principal Manager and currently heads the General Administration Department.
